| BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF LINING CLOTH Ⅰ.The functions of lining cloth Utilized to line and support the overlays liners can better the feel and performance of pendent of the overlays and make ready-made clothes perfectly shaped.Moreover,liners used in different parts of a piece of clothing are able to make them wear-proof. Ⅱ.The choices for lining cloth These aspects followed should be taken into consideration when one is going to choose a kind of lining cloth. A.Specific properties of clothes should be full-length considered when a lining cloth is needed.Separate kinds of clothes and different parts of a piece of clothing call for different liners. With high quality in water-washing resistance,the shirt lining coated by PE is applied to female and male shirts.Garment lining coated by PA is used to all kinds of suits and garments since it is dry-cleaning resisting. Otherwise,superior quality PA powder can also be appropriately water washed.Fashionable and silk dresses need light and thin fashionable dress lining with PA or PES coat.(PES coated liners are necessary if ready-made clothes are to be after-sanded.) B.Qualities of overlays Materials of overlays are different in weave structure,basic fiber components and after-treatment measures as well as the ratio of shrink when pressed and ironed so that they need suitable liners with the same or similar qualities,otherwise they could not match when bonded.Elastic lining cloth is chosen for elastic overlays.(Note:these two should be put into the same elasticity direction when bonded). Light and thin materials of overlays need liners light coated and high cloth picks counted in case the bonding agent may reveal after bonding.Some kinds of light and thin overlays must be matched with liners of the same or similar color in case the color of liners may show out. Usually,liners heavy coated and low cloth picks counted are suitable to overlays thick and heavy with binding places strengthened twisted.Thus the power of resisting stripping is guaranteed. C.The intensions of dress designers and trend at present One type of overlays may be matched by several kinds of liners.That which kind of liner is to be chosen is regard to the intensions of the dress designers and the trend at present with the consideration of its qualities such as thickness,feel and elasticity. D.Quality,cost,function in proportion Sometimes,the same type of lining cloth is divided into several grades according to their qualities.Clients may choose as their wish to meet their own needs. Ⅲ.The bonding of overlay and lining cloth A.Bonding machine There are two types of bonding machine:roll and flat B.Bonding requirements Three requirements are included in bonding,the heat of bonding,the duration of ironing and pressing and the pressure.In a certain range,these three aspects operate mutually.The duration of ironing and pressing may shorten when the heat of bonding is raised and the pressure strengthened,also the other way round.However,if the heat is over raised and the duration of ironing and pressing is too long,the quality and color of overlay material may be easily destroyed or the bonding agent may rveal.If the pressure is over made,it's harmful to the exterior appearance of the overlay(especially to the light and thin material). C.Choices of the bonding Requirements Before putting massive product into action,factories must test these requirements again and again to get the exact technological requirements.(Those lining cloth suppliers ought to offer the bonding requirements for reference when the factory is to test samples in small quantity.) D.Peel off the liner and overlay material after bonding.If the pyrosol is homogeneously distributed on the liner and overlay,it means the bonding requirements are appropriate.Or a second test may be operated. E.After bonding the overlay cover should be flat,wrinkleless,without burbles and reveled bonding agent. F.After bonding,the cloth should be examined by peel,dry clearing and water washing tests.The results of testing must meet the requirements of clothes making. G.The cloth after bonding must be qualified for the styles and characters of clothes. |
